Lenerz, 63, Detroit, formerly of Madison, the brother of Stanley J. Lenerz, 2230 Rowley Ave. comptroller of Madison Newspapers, died unexpectedly Oct. 19 of an apparent heart attack at Detroit. Funeral services and burial were at Detroit Oct.

22. Harold Lenerz, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lenerz of Madison, left here about 20 years ago. Surviving, besides his brother, are his Wife, Alice; two sons, Michael and William; three dughters, Mrs.

Thomas Craig and Ellen and Mary Lenerz, and a sister, Mrs. Estelle Johnson, all of Detroit, and two grandchildren. Everelt Spicer Dies at Age 70 PARDEEVILLE Everett E. Spicer, 70, a retired safety superintendent for the Badger Army Ammunition Plant, died Sunday (Nov. 21, 1971) in a hospital after a long illness.

Bom in the Township of Mar-cellon, Mr. Spicer married Mildred Sexauer, who died in 1939. He married Evelyn Thompson in 1945. He formerly was of Janesville, where he was employed at the Fisher Body Co. He retired from the Badger Army Ammunition Plant in 1944.

Mr. Spicer was a member of Pardeeville Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife; daughter, Mrs. James Wilson, Honolulu, Hawaii; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Tuesday in the Smith Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. The family suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society. a in Fayetteville that Browne will become the schools director of academic planning and development. The appointment is effective this month.

From his Fayetteville office Browne will coordinate the academic planning for university campuses at Little Rock, Monti-cello, Fayetteville, and Pine Biuff. Brownes CCHE position here ended when the agency was eliminated with the merger of the former UW and state universities systems. He had been i director of CCHE for the past two years. Previously, he had been act! ing director of the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the top CCHE administrator in Utah. A graduate of San Jose State College in California, he earned a masters degree from Stanford University and a Ph.D.

from Syracuse University. Mrs. Norma G. Hayne, 59, Middleton, a dietician in several area nursing homes, died Sunday in a Madison hospital after a brief illness. The former Norma Gunderson was born in Madison and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.

She lived in Texas and Washington before moving to Middleton in 1962. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Madison. Surviving are four daughters, Donna, Oak Park, Mrs. John Lott, 507G Eagle Heights Apartments; Mrs. Daniel Torto-rice, 1036 E.

Gorham and Roberta, at home; a son, Richard, at home; two sisters, Mrs Roy Fiedler, 1034 Fiedler Lane; and Mrs. William Fluck, Cali fornia; and a brother, Robert, Beloit. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. There will be no visitation.

The family suggested memorials to the church. The Gruber Funeral Home, Middleton, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. John Bonn RICHLAND CENTER Mrs. John Bann, 83, rural Richland Center, died Sunday (Nov.

21, 1971) in a hospital after a brief illness. The former Me Pheeters was born in Richland Center and was a lifelong area resident. She was the office manager of her a plumbing firm until he retired. Surviving is her husband. The funeral will be at 9 a.m.

Tuesday in St. Marys Catholic Church. Friends may call after p.m. today at the Lunen-schloss-Hansen Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 tonight. The former director of the' Wisconsin Coordinating Council for Higher Education (CCHE), Dr.

Arthur Browne, has been named to a high University of Arkansas post. Over the past six years, Senegal has doubled its average crop yield to 1,100 pounds an acre. It plans to increase peanut cultivation from 6,700 acres at present to 24,700 in 1972.

Wllliam Haugh, 67, died Saturday (Nov. 20, 1971) of an apparent heart attack while chopping wood at home. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, White City. Surviving are a son, James, LaFarge; two brothers, Joseph, La Farge, and Rudolph, New Lisbon; three sisters, Anna Haugh, Hillsboro; Mrs.

Frank Butcher, Valley; and Mrs. AgneS Mellom, Wonewoc; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Friends may call today and tonight at the Johnson Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

20, 1971) in a Viroqua hospital after a long illness. Surviving are a son, Yuland, LaFarge; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Keller, State of Oregon; Mrs. Betty Walling, Racine, and Mrs. Isabelle Napier, Plymouth, two brothers, Marion, Westby; and Charles, State of Oregon; a sister, Elda, State of Oregon; 30 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was a baker for the Sauk County Health Care Center and a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and the Reedsburg Auxiliary Police. He was a past member of the Eagles and the Reedsburg Knights of Py-thais. Surviving are his wife, Marie; two daughters, Sally and Sue, both at home; two brothers, Ervin Rewald and Ralph Re-wald, both of Milwaukee; and his mother, Mrs. Leo Rewald, Milwaukee.

Rodney Myers, Platteville; a son, Darwin Dover, his mother, Mrs. Prudence McCormick, Richland Center; another brother, Lloyd Lancaster; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Esther Johnson, Columhus, Dies COLUMBUS Mrs. Esther Johnson, 69, Route 3, Columbus, died Sunday night in Columbus Community Hospital after long illness. She was the former Esther McFarlane. Her husband, Theron Johnson, to whom she was married in 1924, died in 1966. She was a member of Olivet United Church of Christ here.

Esther Shephard WATERTOWN Mrs. Esther Shephard, 80, died Saturday (Nov. 20, 1971) in a hospital after a brief illness. The former Esther Wendorf was born in Watertown. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid Society, and the Gold Star Mothers.

She was married to George Shephard in 1912. Surviving are a son, Harry, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Wendorf, Watertown; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church.

Charles Bonjour, 66, died Saturday (Nov. 20, 1971) at home after a long illness. The former Ella Engebretson was born in the Township of Gratiot and was graduated from Platteville Normal in 1921. She taught for many years in La-Fayette County schools. She was married in 1928, and the couple farmed in the Gratiot area until retiring in 1970 and moving to South Wayne.

She was a member of the Pe-catonica Homemakers of La-Fayette County. Surviving are her husband; a son, James, Dubuque, daughter, Mrs. Delbert Prine Rt. 2, Beloit; two sisters, Mrs Elmer Berget, Gratiot; and Mrs. Hector Hanson, Augusta six grandchildren; and two foster grandchildren.
