Frances was born on March 3, 1923, in Platteville, daughter of George and Mary Rosetta (Dean) Beyer. She married Kenneth Goke on Sept. 15, 1939, in Davenport, Iowa. She is survived by her children, Norma (Carl) Bierman of Cuba City, Terry (Lynn) Goke of Montfort, Cheryl (Seth) Menon of Dodgeville, Judy (Steve) Scott of Platteville, Joanne (Mark) Cotter of Madison, and Janice (Ed Kavcic) Goke of Atlanta, 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchild re 0 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Della) Beyer of Platteville; two sisters, Leta Buss of Virginia and Isabel (Jake) Kurth of Sheridan, three half-brothers, Clarence (Donna) Beyer, Frank (Kathy) Beyer and Victor (Bev) Burkholder; two half-sisters, Josephine (David) Kedley and Betty Woodcock; and a half-sister-inlaw, Judy Burkholder. Grann, age 83, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2005. He was born on March 6, 1922, the son of James and Elizabeth (Rommelfanger) Grann. When James graduated from Wisconsin High School, he joined the U.S. Navy. He proudly served his country from 1940 to 1945.

James received the Purple Heart and numerous other service commendations and awards. Following his honorable discharge from the navy, y. he attended UW-Madison for a few years. He married Lucile Bowers more than 61 years ago on March 27, 1944, in Portland, at St. Mary's Cathedral.

James had a love for golf and enjoyed it every chance he had. James is survived by his wife Lucile; son, James (Jean) Grann; daughter Diana Klimke) Grann; six grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristine, and Jamie Grann, and Bobbie, Michelle and Tera Rettermund; three Michael Aguilar, Ellie Grann (and her great mom, Sarah Koenig) and Cole Downing; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maribeth Olson; brother J. Ward Olson; sister-in-law, Janet B. Johnson, and her husband Richard W.

Kuska, age, 79, of Oregon, died on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at the Nazareth House, Stoughton. She was born on Dec. 29, 1925, in Green Bay, to Alex and Mabel LaCrosse.

Bernadine married James Kuska on Jan. 17, 1948, in Green Bay, and traveled extensively with James during his service in the military. Following James' retirement from the military in 1964, they moved to Oregon, where they resided since. Bernadine is survived by her husband, James; three daughters, Teresa (Jerry) Marshall of Brooklyn, Barbara (Rick) Christensen of Stoughton, and Debra McGaw (fiance, Dave Carlson) of Evansville; two sons, James. (Kelly) of Baraboo, Denis Kuska of Oregon; 15 grandchildren; eight ins, Helen Sanders, and Geneva great-grandchildren; two cousBuchanan; three sisters-in-law, Carol Nelsen, Bernice Kerkes, and Janice Lytie; and many nieces and nephews.

Lahaie-Pittenger, Beverly "Peggy" SUN PRAIRIE Beverly "Peggy" Lahaie-Pittenger, age 67, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. She was born on Jan. 6, 1938, in Boscobel, daughter of William and Florence (Syverson) Gibbs. She had spent many years as a waitress and for the past few years at Herreman's. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, reading, bowling and more than anything else, being a grandmother.

On Aug. 23, 1987, "Peggy" was united in marriage with Raymond Pittenger in Madison. In addition to her husband Ray, survivors include four children, Gay (Ned) Curtiss of Appleton, Chris (Stacy) LaHaie of Windsor, and Toni (Dan) Layton and Kirk (Kelly) LaHaie, both of Cross Plains; seven grandchildren, Corey, Stacey, Derek, Davis, Andrew, Sara and Joshua; two brothers, Bob Dale Gibbs; and six sisters, Verona Taylor, Velma Stenner, Elizabeth Eddy, Gloria Butts, Donna Martin and Verna Lloyd. (608) 249-6666 MADISON Leonard C. Homburg, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, 8, 2005. He was born on Aug. 16, 1911, in Cottage Grove, the son of Charles and Clara (Wolff) Homburg. Leonard worked for J.H.

Findorff for 41 years as a cement truck driver and later a mechanic. He met his wife, Arlene Schuetze, at Turner Hall. They were married on June 20, 1934, and danced together for 59 years. He received many awards from the Eagles Club for his accomplishments there. As active member of Bethel Lutheran Church, he did construction work at Bethel Horizons and worked in the kitchen for more than 20 years.

Leonard was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Fishing was his second love, twice a week, all summer for many years. He had a green thumb when it came to growing flowers, vegetables and raspberries. He liked travel taking trips to Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii, Florida, Washington, D.C. and Canada.

Leonard was a kind, loving, gentle person. He had a great sense of humor. Always ready to help his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After World War II, he purchased a Harley Davidson motorcycle from U.S. Army surplus and rode it for more than 20 years.

Leonard is survived by his two daughters, Beverly (Gene) Gehrke and Janice Hoff; his four grandchildren, Laurie (Jack) Henderson, David (Wendy) Ziegler, Keith (Nancy) Hoff and Karen (Jon) Nettleton; his gr Hunter Henderson, Brooke and Adam Ziegler, and Meghan, Haley and Tyler Hoff; his brother, Elmer (Jean) children, Homburg; Mike his (Bev) step Gehrke, Rich Gehrke, Jeff (Corrine) Gehrke and Marge (John) Moldrem; 15 great-grandchildren; three great great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. MADISON David K. Koprovic, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005, at Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie. He was born in Kenosha on March 30, 1948, son of the late Vincent and Marjorie (Greenwood) Koprovic. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He graduated from UW-Madison in 1970, with a degree in political science.

On June 18, 1969, he married Pat Krier. They later divorced. He had been employed by the state of Wisconsin Unemployment Division since June 1971. In 1990, he moved from Kenosha to Madison and was a system programmer with the state of Wisconsin Unemployment Division, retiring after 30 years in July 2004. He then returned to Kenosha in 2005, due to his health.

David enjoyed golfing, fishing and home improvement projects. Surviving are two daughters, Kristin (Tom) Brown and Alison (Jason) Paproth, both of Kenosha; his companion, Deb- Neumann, Edwyna M. EDGERTON Ed- ST. PAUL, MINN. Dr.

Carol Ann Mahan, age 50, passed peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, June 2, 2005, in St. Paul, Minn. Carol was born in Beloit on May 9, 1955. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, and received a bachelor's of science degree in education from UW She went on to obtain a master's degree in guidance and counseling from UW-Whitewater, and a doctorate in higher education administration from Iowa State University. Carol's passion was teaching and helping others.

She touched the lives of many and her contributions will be missed. Carol is survived by sisters, Laural Garrette and Fonda Hodge (Boyce); special nephew and niece, Marten and Leigha; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene A. Mahan and her mother, Margie A. Mahan.

Her life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 1 I p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2005, at the HANSEN FUNERAL HOME, 424 Prospect Beloit. McCutcheon, Dale William Mahan, Carol Ann Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home Cremation Services 5701 Odana Road (608) 274-1000 SUN PRAIRIE Dale William McCutcheon, age 84, loving father and grandfather, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at hospice after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born on Dec. 7, 1920, i in Wausau, son of Thomas and Louise McCutcheon.

A 1939 graduate from Wausau High School, his education was interrupted by World War II during which he served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific as a medical assistant. Upon returning he married Rose Jankovich on June 26, 1948, in Eagle River, and graduated from UW-Steven Point in 1951, with a major in biology. He taught high school biology in Colby for five years before moving to Richland Center in 1956, to join Wyeth Laboratories as a pharmaceutical rep. calling on doctors, hospitals and pharmacies.

He relocated to Madison in 1964, where he continued to work for Wyeth until his retirement in 1986. He was well known in the medical community for his knowledge and dedication as well as his distinctive whistle, bow ties and quick wit. He loved sports, particularly tennis and golf, and was very proud of his hole one. He was an avid Badgers football and hockey fan for many years before the Parkinson's forced him to give up his season tickets. He also enjoyed woodworking and carving ducks, birds and other figures.

He was a lifetime member of the Middleton Kiwanis with more than 30. years perfect attendance and was a member of the 4th Degree Honor Guard of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his brother Don (Cy) of Wausau, sister Phyllis (Bob) of Wausau; six children, Thomas (Renee) of Whitefish Bay, Michael (Beth) of Sun Prairie, Patrick (Kim) of Madison, Michele of Playa del Carmen Mexico, Timothy (Donna) of Wentzville, and Mark (Amy) of Sun Prairie; and 12 grandchildren, Ryan (Liz), Seth, Jessica (Ben), Sarah, Kristen, Jared, Keeley, Luke, Aaron, Matthew, Lauren and Ian. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST.

M. Neumann, age 75, of Westfield, formerly of Edgerton, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005 at UW Hospital, Madison. She was born on Dec. 27, 1929, in Milton, daughter of the late Edwin and Martha Babcock. Edwyna married Henry M.

Neumann on Feb. 10, 1950, in Rockford, Ill. She was a loving wife, mother and talented artist who enjoyed spending time with her family, the outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapshooting. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Henry; two sons, Gregory, Janesville, and Brian (Val), Iowa; four grandchildren, Becky Neumann, Madison, Bill Neumann, Milton, and Eric and Christopher Neumann, Iowa; other relatives and friends. Edwyna was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian and Genevieve.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2005, at 11 a.m. at IMMANUEL THERAN CHURCH, Westfield, with Vicar Ron Riemer officiating. All area family and friends are invited. Sanna, Elizabeth "Betty" SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. Elizabeth "Wild Betty" Jane Neef Sanna passed away on Sunday morning, June 5, 2005, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She will be forever remembered for the good times and fun at "26." Her children and friends dearly loved her. You know who you are! Schadauer, Francis "Joe" MADISON Francis "Joe" Schadauer died unexpectedly of a massive heart attack on Tuesday, June 7, 2005.

He was born on Jan. 4, 1927, in Madison, to Julius and Anna (Haas) Schadauer. He attended grade school at Holy Redeemer School, and graduated with the class of 1944 from Central High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Joe grad- MADISON Mavis Sagen passed away on July 26, 2004. She was born on May 11, 1922, and raised in Madison. Mavis was a 1939 graduate of East High School. She married Richard (E.H.S. 1936).

She is survived by a son, Tony Sagen of Ladysmith; a daughter, Dolores Jones of Murfreesboro, along with nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Dahle of Harsen's Island, and a brother, All Kidd of Shores, Fla. She is predeceased by her husband; and three sons. There will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mavis Sagen on Saturday, June 11, 2005, at 11 a.m. at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS in the Garden of Eternal Peace Chapel uated from the University of Wisconsin in 1950 as an electrical engineer, and especially enjoyed playing in the marching band.

He married Louise Cooper on June 20, 1959, and they had one son, Michael. Joe spent most of his working years maintaining electronic equipment for the University of Wisconsin Medical School, retiring in 1993. He was a train buff and enjoyed riding the trains of U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and continental Europe. Joe was still softball and had spent Memorial Day weekend playing in the U.S.A. Volleyball Tournament in Denver with the over 75 league.

He was an active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, being an usher and Eucharistic Minister. He is survived by his wife, Louise; his son, Michael (Elise), two grandsons, Wilson and Jonah, all of Minneapolis; a sister, Elizabeth Phelan of San Gabriel, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CHURCH, 405 S. Owen Drive, Madison, on Friday, June 10, 2005, at 11 a.m. Monsignor Ken Fiedler and the Rev.

Siesen, age 75, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2005. She was born on July 4, 1929, in Madison, the daughter of Jay and Doris Vernon.

Judith worked as a secretary at UW- Madison, retiring after 35 years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Judith was proud she donated blood for the Red Crossthroughout most of her life. She is survived by her sons, Brett (Joyce) Siesen Stoughton, and Mark Siesen of Stoughton; grandchildren, Jennifer, Amy, Bryan, Joshua, Brittney and Jonathan Siesen; special friends, Ruth Olson, Terry and Sandy Kleisch, Caroline Siesen; nieces; nephews; and other friends. Gunderson Stoughton Funeral Cremation Centers (608) 873-4590 www.gundersonfh.com Swanson, Kenneth Randall "Randy" MONROE Kenneth Randall "Randy" Swanson, loving husband, father and grandfather, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was born in Milwaukee in 1943, to Randall and Karine Swanson. He grew up in Madison, graduating from West High School in 1961 and the University of Wisconsin in 1966. He was employed at United Building Centers (formerly Fish Building Supply) and was manager of the Monroe store for 25 years. He was also president of Sunnyside Seed Farms, Middleton from 1998 until his death, as well as an owner of the New Glarus Fitness Center in New Glarus.

One of Ken's joys in life was the fellowship of other believer's and various men's Bible studies and prayer groups in both Monroe and Arizona. Ken was united in marriage on June 26, 1965, to the former Tracey Olson who grew up in Boscobel. He is survived by his wife, Tracey; and their children, Kevin Randall Swanson (and his wife, Denise) of Monticello, Timothy Nathanael Swanson (and his wife, Jolene) of Fort Leonardwood, and Hanna Marjean Swanson of Milwaukee; as well as three grandchildren, Anyka, Natalie and Tait. Survivors also include a sister, Karen Swanson Bolles of Woodbury, a brother, Neil Edward Swanson of Warrenton, and many nieces, nephews and extended family whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Julie.

The family would like to thank Dr. William Schelman, Dr. Howard Bailey, and the staff of UW Oncology Clinic, as well as Monroe Clinic and Monroe Clinic Hospice. There will be no visitation. A memorial service celebrating his life is planned for June 22, 2005, at 11 a.m.

at the MONROE BIBLE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers the family is establishing a memorial with Holt Adoption Agency in Kenneth's name. Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe is assisting the family..
