Stabnaw, Everett E. BLACK EARTH Everett E. Stabnaw, age 75, passed away on Monday, September 13, 1993, at the Maplewood Nursing Home in Sauk City. He was born on February 12, 1918, the son of Fred and Margaret (Gudenschwager) Stabnaw in Willow Township, Richland County. He was married on December 29, 1943, to the former Elizabeth Westedt.

He farmed in Sauk County, near Hillpoint, until 1966. He spent several years as a school bus driver and a landscaper in the Black Earth area. He recently retired from his favorite hobby of wood working. Everett belonged to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, in Black Earth. Survivors include his wife, Ellzabeth Stabnaw of Black Earth; a daughter, Lois (Ron) Mueller of Ashland; a son, Wayne (Joan) Stabnaw of Neenah; three grandchildren, Christopher, Laurel Ann, and Curtis Mueller, all of Ashland; a sister, Evelyn (Ray) Muchow of Hillpoint; three nieces, Loella (Don) Breight.

of Reedsburg, Luann (Louis) Hoff of Bison, South Dakota, and Lisa (Pat) Farber of Reedsburg; a special friend, Diane Rose of Black Earth; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. at OUR SAVIOR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, in Black Earth. Friends may call on Thursday, September 16, 1993, at the ELLESTAD FUNERAL HOME, in Black Earth, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Ellestad Funeral Home Black Earth, WI Stevens, Mae Caroline MILFORD, Mae Caroline Stevens was born on March 15, 1911 at Milford, lowa. Her parents were the late George and Charlotte (Funk) Chaffin, of Dutch-Irish background.

She attended the public schools through high school at Milford. Her marriage to Clarence Morgan took place at Arnolds Park, lowa, on May 31, 1931. They became the parents of a son and three daughters. Mr. Morgan died of a heart attack when he was 45 years old.

Following his death, Mae did babysitting and housekeeping. She was united in marriage to Charles Stevens on January 19, 1957. He passed away on June 28, 1984. Following Mr. Steven's death, Mae continued to live in Madison, Wisconsin.

She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church. Mae enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, reading and watching TV. In Madison she was a faithful church attender and served on the church Library Committee and the Fellowship group. Since April 28, 1992, she had been a resident of the Sogge Memorial Good Samaritan Home in Windom, Minnesota. It was there that she passed away on Wednesday morning, September 8, 1993 at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 23 days.

Preceding her in death, besides her parents and her husbands, was a daughter; five brothers; and a sister. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Robert and Sandra Morgan of Los Angeles, California, Marilyn and Bill Fitsimmons of Belleview, Nebraska, and Dora and Loren Behrens of Windom, Minnesota; three stepchildren, Earl and Esther Stevens of Madison, Ralph and Shirley Johansen of Madison, and Edna Mae Roberts of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Tyler, Lucille REEDSBURG Lucille Tyler, age 88, former resident of 241 S. Locust in Reedsburg, died on Monday, September 13, 1993, at the Edward Snyder Nursing Home in Reedsburg. She was born on July 18, 1905, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the beloved daughter of Thomas Scott and Anna Hartman.

She resided at Snyder Nursing Home since January of 1993. Lucille was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of God, Reedsburg where she was a lifetime member of the missionaries. Lucille was a member of the Reedsburg Area Historical Society for may years. She is survived by a son, Raymond Tyler of Mauston; her daughters, Evelyn Janisch of Reedsburg, Shirley Tobey Reedsburg, Gloria (Ronald) Cayse of Reedsburg, Betty (Duane) Dargel of Rockford, Illinois, Marilyn (Jim) Bohn of Lake Delton, Sharon (Steve) Schuett of Lake Delon; 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin B. Tyler; her parents; a son, Allen H. Tyler; a sister, Lula Turner; a brother, Harold Scott; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Lucille Tyler will be conducted on Thursday, September 16, 1993, at 1:00 p.m. in the CHURCH OF GOD, Reedsburg, with Pastor Willis Graves officiating.

Burial will follow in Richland Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the FARBER FUNERAL HOME of Reedsburg. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Thanks to you, coal consumption has seen a long line of setbacks.

Pleper, age 81, died on Saturday, September 11, 1993, at the Skaalen Sunset Home in Stoughton. He was born on September 5, 1912, in Cottage Grove, the son of Henry and Stella Pleper.

Vincent worked as a truck driver for Blatz Beer and also worked as a custodian for the University of Wisconsin. He married the former Catherine Dempsey in October of 1939, she preceded him in death in March of 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Florence Gordon of Boise, Idaho, and Barbara Van Hagan of Oregon, Wisconsin; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several sisters; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11:00 a.m.

VERONA Elleen L. Schaller died on Tuesday, September 14, 1993, at a local nursing home. She was born on January 23, 1917, in Alpha, North Dakota. She moved to Wisconsin with her family in 1922. Her parents were John S.

Schweigert and Barbara L. Busche. She was married to William G. Schaller in 1946. They farmed near Paoli, Wisconsin, until she moved to Verona In 1976.

She retired from the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation In 1981. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Schaller in 1962; and both of her parents; and her brother, Dr. Bernard Schweigert. She Is survived by her children, Mary L.

Schaller of Verona, William J. (Terry) Schaller of Portage, James E. (Virginia) Schaller of Stoughton, Donald P. (Katherine) Schaller of rural Verona, and Kathleen MIDDLETON Gloria J. Wayne, age 65, of Middleton, died on Sunday, September 12, 1993, at the Stoughton Hospital.

The former Gloria Lewis was born on February 10, 1928, in Detroit, to Alfred and Hazel Lewis. She was a secretary and a homeMichigan, maker, as well as an accomplished watercolor artist. She is reunited with her beloved late husband, Frederick Edward Wayne, Sr. She is survived by her children, Rick (Janet) Wayne, Janet (James) Koloen; her brothers; Frederick and Robert Lewis; sisters, Alfredo Wheeler, Lillian Walker, and Shirley Ryskamp; two grandchildren, Glory and Cody Koloen. MADISON Gladys E. Zeasman, age 101, died on Sunday, September 12, 1993 at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison. She was born on September. 4, 1892 in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Milton and Mary 'Andrews.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1916; with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. She also attended the Madison Business College. She was married to Otto R. Zeasman on June 21, 1916 at Christ Presbyterian Church, and lived the rest of her life in Madison. In her younger years, she was active in many local organizations.

Gladys was a very avid bridge player and she had many talents in numerous areas of creative handiwork. She had a genuine love for life. and people. In her 101 years, she has made a real difference in the lives of all those who knew her, and she will always remain in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto, in September of 1976; and a son, John, in 1940.

She is survived by three sons, Donald (Joanne) of Delavan, Wisconsin, Ira (Jean) of Seattle, Washington, and James (Rosemary) of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin; two daughters, Helen (George) Tholo of Madison, and Mary of Madison; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, September 18, 1993 at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, in Madison, with Reverend Mark Swanson of the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church officiating.

Aloysius School Endowment Fund. Bell, Inez Agnes Inez Agnes Bell nee Fuller, died on September 12, 1993, at Methodist Health Center in Madison, Wisconsin, after a long illness. Inez was born on July 30, 1915, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was a life long resident of Wauwatosa. She graduated from Wauwatosa High School where she excelled in athletics and was a Red Arrow girl, and from Marquette University. It was while at Marquette that she met the cutest guy on earth, Richard Bellinghausen (Bell), who she was married to until his death on April 27, 1988.

Inez and Dick enjoyed many things together during their marriage, especially dancing and sailing on big ships to Europe. It was while they were in her favorite country, Italy, that she became Ill. Inez was a generous woman, committed to helping those less fortunate than herself. She volunteered much time and energy to her community and especially enjoyed her involvement with St. Gall Congregation, the L.A.S.C.

(Lutheran Social Action Commission) Shop, St. Vincent de Paul, the Wauwatosa Woman's Club (where she served as president), the Wisconsin Federation of Women's Clubs, League of Women Voters, the Wauwatosa Pioneers, and the Literary Guild. She is survived by her sister, Mary Dahlman of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; her daughters, Judith Mayer of Albany, New York, and Gillian Lawrence of Madison, Wisconsin; and her loving grandchildren, Alexander Mayer of Seattle, Washington, Joshua Lawrence of Milan, Italy, Sascha Mayer of Burlington, Virginia, Nikki Mayer of Albany, New York, and Samuel Lawrence of Madison, Wisconsin. 0ther survivors Include her sons-in-law, Edward Mayer and Daniel Nevers; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Russell Dahlman, Gretchen and Otto Scherr, Helen and Harold Grenell, and Mary Pike; her best friend for more than seventy years, Margie Rocker, and many other dear friends and relatives. Inez's family would like to thank her many friends and relatives who kept in touch with her, through cards and letters and visits, after she moved to Madison.

They also extend a most appreciative thank you to the staff of Methodist Health Center for their kind and excellent care. It was very difficult for Inez to leave her home and all of her friends in Wauwatosa. The nurses, aides, social workers, activity staff, housekeeping staff and administrators at Methodist did their very best to ease her home sicknesses, and to help her adjust to life away from her friends. The affection and the gentleness they showed to Inez, and to her family, during the last weeks of her Illness not only gave comfort, but clearly defined what it is we mean when we talk about "living, and dying, with dignity." Their efforts will never be forgotten. Grave side services will be held at 1:00 p.m.

Deenen, age 79, of Madison, died on Tuesday, September 14, 1993, at a Sun Prairie nursing home. He was born on June 12, 1914, in Black Earth. He was a farmer and also worked in cancer research at McArdle Lab. He was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Margaret (Art) Schneider of Sun Prairie, and Eileen (Wilson) Howard of Waunakee; and many nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick, and Mary Deneen; two sisters, Monica Deenen, and Helen Sutter; and a brother, Phillip Deneen. Funeral services will be held at ST. Dillon, age 71, died on Sunday, September 12, 1993, at a local nursing home. She was born in England on November 20, 1921, to Stanley and Gladys Dillon. She is survived by her friends, Lettie and Jim Dueppen, and Trudy and Roy Lampe. He was born on February 20, 1914, in the Town of Burke, the son of David and Ella Dunn. Russell married Lillian Nordness on June 21, 1939, in Madison. He farmed most of his life in the Dane County area before retiring from the Madison Board of Education in 1979. He was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lil- lian three sons, Russell (Pearl), Gerald (LaVonne), and Patrick (Charlene); two daughters, Gail (Roger) Wollom, and Cindy Dunn, all of Madison; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Dixie) Dunn of Lake Mills; a sister, Loretta Jacobson of Madison; and many other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael; and seven brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services will be heid at ST. MADISON Kermit C. Ison, age 78, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 11, 1993. He was born near Crandon, Wisconsin, on August 5, 1915. He was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad for many years. Kermit was a member of Madison Masonic Lodge a 32nd Degree Mason belonging to the Madison Scottish Rite Bodies.

He is survived by his wife, Florence; two sons, Murray of Paradise Valley, Arizona, and Myron "Cap" of San Francisco, California; four grandsons, Bruce, David and Brian of Phoenix, Arizona, and Christopher of Hillsborough, California; one brother, Alton of Crandon; four sisters, Georgene of Marinette, Mona of Pickerell, Jewell of Crandon, and Hazel of Wabeno. He was greatly loved and will be missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, at Thursday, September 16, 1993. Lovell, Fred A. BARABOO Fred A. Lovell, age 91, of Baraboo, passed away on Monday, September 13, 1993, at St. Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo. Mr.

Lovell was born on May 24, 1902, in Marshall, Illinois, to Andrew and Iona Lovell. He married Marie Schirmer on November 24, 1943, in Baraboo. Fred was an Administrative Manager for the Federal Highway Administration, from 1952 to 1972. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Baraboo, and a member of the Baraboo Elks Lodge since 1942. Survivors include a daughter, Ann (Doug) Lange of Baraboo; a son, Andrew Lovell of Stoughton; three grandchildren, Donald Hron of Minneapolis, Patricia Hron of Madison, and Alice Hron of Madison; a step-grandchild, Tracie Lange of Baraboo; a great-grandson, Matthew Hron of Madison; two brothers-in-law, Stu Schirmer of Baraboo, and Mike Schirmer of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; his parents; two brothers; and two sisters. The former Erma Bedward was born on July 28, 1924 In Bridgeport, Wisconsin. She was a Madison area resident since 1939. She was a member of the Bashford United Methodist Church in Madison.
