Anna Pospichal i MUSCODA Mrs. Anna Pos-pichal, 90, died Monday (Sept. 27, 1971) in a Madison nursing home after a long illness. The former Anna Vranck was married in 1906 to Frank Pospi-chal at Spring Green. She.

moved to Watertown after the death of her husband and lived in Madison for the past' two years. She was a member of SIW Bernard's Catholic Church in Madison. Surviving in Madison is a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Sobek, Sommers Ave. 'i Also surviving is a ter, Mrs.

She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and" taught school in the Mt. Schuetze, 59, a nationally known Shetland pony breeder, died Tuesday (Sept. 28, 1971) at his home after a long illness. He graduated from Ripon Col lege and the Madison Business College. He owned and operated Schuetze's Clothing Store in Monroe.

He had served as director of the Wisconsin Horse Assn. and as a and publicity director of the Green County Fair. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Kiwanisi Clubn the Midwest Clothing both the Wisconsin and the Green County Historical So- cieites, the Monroe Chamber ofi Commerce, and the Monroe Country Club. Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Sophie Schuetze; and two sons, William, a law student at the University of Kentucky; and John, a student at Northwestern University.

Funeral services are pending at the Shriner-Neushwander Fu neral Home. Mrs. Mildred Shilliam PLATTEVILLE The funeral for Mrs. Mildred Shilliam, 80, who died Tuesday (Sept. 28, 1971) will be at 2 p.m.

Thursday at the Thomas Funeral Home. Mrs. Shilliam was a lifelong Platteville resident and a member of the a Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary, and World War I Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters; Nellie Waterman, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Kathryn Scott, San Leandro, Calif; a sister, Mrs.

Ethel Seeman, St. Petersburg, nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. David Sweet, 78, of 23 N. Mills died Tuesday (Sept.

28, 1971) in a Sparta nursing home after a long illness. i The former Myrtle Page was married in 1904 top Walter Hofmeister, who died in 1964. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First Congregational Church. Surviving are two sons, E. V.

and Willis, both of Hillsboro; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Picha's Funeral Home, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. for Janesville Man JANESVILLE The funeral for Ronald K.

Tracy, 23, who died Monday, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Reining- Wisch Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Rock County Deputy Coroner Charles Gramke ruled the death due to electrocution after a steel rod Mr. Tracy was carrying struck an overhead wire carry ing 7,200 volts.

He had been a Janesville resident since 1949. Mr. Tracy was a cement fin isher for his father, a construc tion contractor. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Diane Hanson, three sons, Chad, Ronnie, and Craig, and a daughter; Kim. all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tracy, Avalon; three sisters, Mrs. Earl CamD- bell, and Mrs.

Harry Morse, both of Janesville; and Sheryl, at home; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Grover. Can- ron, and Mrs. Alma Tracy, Mauston.

LaVerne Erickson SOUTH WAYNE LaVernp Erickson, 41, Woodford, died Monday (Sept. 27. 1971) in a Darlington hospital after a long illness. He farmed near South Wavne. moving to Woodford in 1958.

28, 1971) in a Verona nursing home after a long illness. The former Edna Phillips married Charles P. Ustine. He died in 1959. She was a Madison resident more than 40 years.

Mrs. Ustine was a former member of the Glenwood Mo ravian Church and was a mem ber of the Royal Neighbors of America. Surviving are a son, Charles West Allis; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Jones, Albany; and Mrs. Neva Schiessl, Milwaukee; and a brother, Morris, Oregon.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Frautschi Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Burial wilt be in Prairie Mound Cemetery, Oregon. Memorials may be made to the piano fund at Four Winds Manor, Verona.

August Heed August Heed, 70, of 1635 Haas died Monday (Sept. 27, 1971) in a hospital after a brief illness. Born in Sweden, Mr. Heed came to the United States in 1924 and settled in Duluth, Minn. He came to Madison in 1932.

He was employed as a me chanic with the Greyhound Bus Co. for 42 years. He retired in 1966. Surviving is his wife, the for mer Kathyrn Cafferty. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m.

Miss Weightman, Former Teacher in Madison, Dies ESTHER WEIGHTMAN DUNEDIN, Fla. Miss Esther Weightman, a long time Wisconsin high school teacher, died here Sept. 12, 1971. Born in Mound City, Miss Weightman received her bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri in 1918. She taught in Missouri high schools for four years before coming to the University of Wis consin for a master's degree in Latin and classics.

She was a Latin teacher at Wisconsin High School for 38 years and also served as the school's dean of girls. Miss Weightman was an as sistant professor in the Dept. of Education at the UW where she taught education methods courses. She retired from teaching in 1961. Mrs.

Clara Woodward BRODHEAD Mrs. Clara Woodward, 77, was found dead Monday (Sept. 27, 1971) at her home. Green County Coroner Rich ard Wagner, ruled that Mrs. Wooward had died of natural causes and had been dead for about a week.

The former Clara Johnson was married to Manly D. Woodward in 1915 South Dakota. Mr. Woodward died in 1946. Mrs.

Woodward recently re tired as Spring Grove Township treasurer after 25 years at the position. She was also a charter member of the Spring Grove Friendly Farmerettes. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fred Deppeler, Brodhead; and Mrs. Robert Buehl, Monti- cello; a son Merril, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs.

Nora Lewis, Miami, Mrs. Jubal Jor- genson, Bellingham, and Mrs. Harley Strickler, S.D.; a brother, Oral Johnson, Okaton, S.D.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Newcomer Funeral Home.

Friends may call between 7 and 9 tonight. Palmer Fremo Palmer (Ole) Fremo, 66, Windsor, died Tuesday (Sept. 28. 1971) in a Madison hospital after a long illness. Mr.

Fremo has been a resi dent of the Windsor area for 10 years, and was a former employe of the Wingra Stone Co. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, De- Forest. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Cyril Heiser 398 Starling Lane; two sisters, Mrs. Jennings Agre, Boyd, and Mrs.

27, 1971) at his home of natural causes. 1 of Loretta, Mr. Shanahan moved to Chicago in 1921 and was a retired street car conductor for the Chicago Transit Authority. Surviving are two brothers, Joseph, Loganville; and James, Downes Grove, and a sjs ter, Mrs. John Gillespie, Hill point.

Edward J. Arnold COLUMBUS Edward J. A nold, 74, died Monday (Sept. 27, 1971) in a Wyocena nursing home after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of the Town of Hampden, where he had farmed until his retirement.

Mr. Arnold was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, East Bristol. Surviving are two sisters, Eliz abeth and Anna, and a brother, Alvin, all of Columbus. The funeral will be at 10 a.m Thursday in the church.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 tonight. Joseph M. Bollig MIDDLETON Joseph M. Bollig, 83, Rt.

2, Poynette, died Tuesday (Sept. 28, 1971) in a Sauk-Prairie Hospital after a brief illness. He farmed in Dane County until his retirement in 1959. He had lived in Poynette for the past year after living in Cross Plains and Mazomanie. He married the former Ma tilda Howery.

She died in 1970 Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Verlin Walworth, Baraboo; and Mrs. Marlin Schlick, Black Earth; two sons, John, Wheat- ridge, and Ben, Poy nette; a brother, Fred, Mazomanie; a sister, Mrs. Clara Thorn, South Milwaukee; six grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Ni-tardy-Doersching Funeral Home. Marie Zimmerli MONROE Miss Marie Zim merli, 88, died Tuesday (Sept. 28, 1971) in a Monroe hospital after a brief illness. A native of Switzerland, she came to Monroe in 1889.

Miss Zimmerli later headed the home economics department at Stevens Point High School, retiring in 1948. She was a graduate of Stevens Point Normal School. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Surviving is a sister, Mrs.

a 66, died Monday (sept. 27, 1971) in a hospital after an illness. He was a Beloit resident 'or most of his life. He married the former Dorothy Zimmerman in Harvard, 111., in 1962. He was a chemical processor for Klenaid Products, and World War II veteran of the Navy.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Izaac Walton League, and the Beloit Archery Club. Surviving are his wife; a son Glenn, Beloit; four daughters, Mrs. Carol Visgar, and Mrs. Sharon Floyd, both of South Beloit, 111. Mrs.

John P. Popsoh JANESVILLE John P. Pop- son, 64, died Monday (Sept. 27, 1971) in a Janesville hospital after a brief illness. He married the former Lillian Reynolds in 1932.

He was a member of Fairbanks-Morse Quarter Century Club. He re- tired from the company last Nov. 1 after 40 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife; a son, James, Hillside, a daugh ter, Mrs. William Slattery, Janesville; his mother, Mrs. Mi chael Popson, West Leisenring, four brothers, Stephen, Clearwater, Joseph, Un- iontown, Andrew, Warren, 0. and Francis, Warren two sisters, Mrs. John May, West Leisenring, and Mrs.

27, 1971) in a Sparta hospital after a long illness. The former Emma Sutton. was married in 1927 to James Betthauser. He died in 1951. She was an elementary teacher in the Brookwood District for more than 25 years before retiring in June.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert Page, Sparta; and Mrs. Parnell Donahue, Hartford; three sisters, Mrs. Glenn Scott, Denver, Mrs. E.

G. Smith, Kendall; and Mrs. Harold Cole, Black River Falls; a brother, Rollin, Tomah; and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St.

Idor Aspenson VIROQUA Idor Aspenson, 65, died Monday (Sept. 27, 1971) in a Viroqua hospital. He married the former Signe Saegrove in 1933. Mr. Aspenson was an employe of Fortney Hardware, Gays Mills, for 17 a s.

He then worked as a salesman 17 years for the LaCrosse Steel and Roofing Co. until retiring a year ago. Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Cora Aspenson, Viroqua; a brother, Eldar, Viroqua; and a sister, Mrs. Paul Paulson, Prairie du Chien.
