Sadie Crawford. 78, longtime Madison resident, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John B. Gibson, 835 E. Mifflin with whom she had lived for the past 17 years.

Born in Riley, she came to Madison in 1894 and had lived here since. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gibson, Madison, and Mrs. Charles H. Horton, McFarland; two sons, Harper S.f Madison, and Harold, Stoughton; a brother, Louis Karas, Rice Lake; 20 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

OREGON Funeral services for Harvey Peterson, 65, Albany area farm hand who was killed instantly' when he was struck by a car near Albany Monday night, will be held at 2 p.

CLARA T. RUNGE BARABOO Funeral services for Mrs. Clara T. Runge, 91, Bara-boo, former University of Wisconsin regent, will be held at 3 p. m.

Friday in the McGann-Hanson funeral home. Frederick Cairns of the Unitarian society, Madison, will officiate. The body will be taken to Milwaukee to be cremated. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p. m.

Mrs SPARTA Funeral services for John Hutson, 84, who died Sunday at his home in Sparta, were held Wednesday at the Lanham's funeral home, the Rev. E. E. Clarke officiating. Burial was in Mt.

Hope cemetery. Mr. Hutson was born in the town of Wells and had lived in the vicinity all or his life. His wife, the former Anna Ardell Boyle, died 45 years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs.

R. A. Power, Viroqua; Mrs. George Miller, Milwaukee; a son, Claude, Sparta; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, A. C.

today at the Treweek funeral home, Mineral Point. The Rev. Earl E. Remaly, pastor of the Congregational church, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Survivors are her husband, and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Martin, Mineral Point. Kempf Rites Funeral service for Louis Kempf, 85. who was found dead in his room at 556 State Monday, will be held at 10 a. m.

today in the Ryan funeral home, with graveside services in Holy Cross cemetery. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. William Ma-honey will officiate.

Funeral home officials said they were unable to locate relatives of Kempf, who lived alone. 7 i mm versity regent from 1926 to 1938. She also was a former women's state chairman for the Progressive party. Mrs. Runge was the only surviving charter member of the Baraboo Twentieth Century and of the Fortnightly Literary clubs.
