He was a 50 year member of the Wisconsin Bankers Association, 50 year member of the Masonic Orders, 32nd Degree Mason the Wisconsin Consistory at Valley of Milwaukee. He was also a member of Zor Shrine in Madison. Mr. Roberts was a member of the Fox Lake American Legion for over 50 years, having served in WWI.

He was a former assessor and council member of the city Fox Lake and former president of the Fox Lake Library Board. Mr. Roberts was also in local Agricultural Farming Insurance, Ford Automobile Agency. Survivors are cousins and friends. services will be held on Monday November 29, 2 p.m.

Schreiner, Clara PLAIN, Wisconsin Clara Schreiner, age 87, died Thursday, November 25, at a Kenosha nursing home, after a long illness. She was born March 10, 1889, in Mr.

and Mrs. Michael Bindl. She attended school in Spring Green. She was married to Fred Schreiner on September 13, 1916. Mrs.

Schreiner was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Plain. Survivors include her husband Fred, now residing in Green Bay with their son Gerald; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Dolores) Cord, Kenosha; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at ST.

was born August 28, 1914, in Oxford, Wisconsin and was a long time Madison resident. He was a laborer at the Ocsar Mayer Co. for 28 years retiring 1 week ago. Mr. Bertoli was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Angeline Grieger; a son, Kenneth Morrisonville, WI; three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Joan) Arnold, Mt. Horeb, Mrs. Thomas (Marge) Bisbee, Madison, and Betsy, at home; five grandchildren; a brother, Frank, Chicago; two sisters, Margaret Lange, McFarland, Frances Hungness, Rockford, Ill. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae, in 1972, and a son.

on Sunday, November 28. Bronsdon, Fred MADISON- S. Bronsdon, age 77, of 348 Island Drive, died Thursday evening, Nov. 25, 1976, in a local hospital. He was born July 1, 1899 in Auroraville, WI, and lived much of his life in the Neenah area before moving to Madison in 1973.

Mr. Bronsdon, a World War I veteran, had an insurance agency in Menasha for a number of years, and in later years was a bailiff and law librarian with the Winnebago County Circuit Court. A fisherman and hunter, he was an able dog trainer and had a keen interest in training horses. A photo of Mr. Bronsdon with an Arabian filly was selected as one of the favorite pictures of the year in the State Journal 1974.

He is survived by 2 sons, Frederick of Downey, CA. and Robert of Madison; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, June, in 1975 and two sisters. Memorial services will be held in December at the Robert Bronsdon home. Freitag, Marvin J.

NEW Marvin J. Freitag, age 65, of New Glarus, died Saturday noon, Nov. 27, 1976, at his home. Mr. Freitag was a retired New Glarus township farmer.

Funeral services will be held at the ZWENGLI UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, Monticello, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30. Burial will be in Highland after 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov.

PLATTEVILLE Mrs. David P. Gardner, age 58, died on Friday, Nov. 26, at Platteville Municipal Hospital. She was born April 2, 1918 in Durand, Wi.

She was the former Doris Latshaw. She married David P. Gardner on Sept. 10, 1945. She is survived husband, David P.

Gardner, a brother, Wallace Latshaw, Jr. of Kimberly, and a sister, Mrs. John (Marcia) Lee of Plainview, MN. She was preceded death by her parents and a twin sister, Lois. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov.

29 at 9:30 a.m. at ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Platteville with burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Rev. Father Edward T.

Gilbertson, Barbara G. DE FOREST Barbara G. Gilbertson, age 64, died on Friday, Nov. 26, 1976 at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison.

She had been in failing health the past three years. She was born in Darlington, Wi. on Oct. 17, 1912. She is survived by a son, Peter of Minneapolis, four sisters, Mrs.

Bernice Skostad of Madison, Mrs. Winnifred Rice of Findley, Ohio, Mrs. Mildred Lundin of Rockford and Mrs. Alice Kendall of Wilmington, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov.

29 at 2 p.m. at the ERICKSON-SHARER FUNERAL HOME, Darlington. Burial will be in UNION GROVE CEMETERY. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday after 6 p.m. Hutchins, Evelyn A.

NEW Evelyn A. Hutchins, age 65, formerly of 3993 Schneider Stoughton, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1976, New Glarus nursing home after an illness. She was born Nov. 7, 1911, at Madison and was a lifelong are resident.

The former Evelyn Anderberg was married to John E. Hutchins on July 7, 1934, at Waukegan, III. She was a member the former Central Lutheran Church of Madison and now was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She is survived by two sons, James and Edwin, both of Stoughton; a daughter, Mrs.

Nancy Thompson of Lodi, two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Tucker and Mrs. Stella Dyhr, both of Madison; and five grandchildren. A son, John Jr. preceded her in death in 1959.

Private funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 29 at p.m. at the SCHROEDER FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington the Rev. D.

WAUNAKEE Margaret E. Karis, age 87 passed away at the Waunakee Manor Health Care Center, Saturday. morning November 27, 1976, following a long illness. Miss Karls was born in the township of Berry on November 10, 1889. Since 1900 she has lived in Waunakee.

For many years she was housekeeper for St. Mary of the Lake Parish in Westport. Reverend Mueller, pastor. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Waunakee.

She was also a member the Catholic Knights branch 82 Waunakee. Survivors include one sister; Sister Mary Anna O.S.B. of St. Louis two brothers; Mike and Anton M. Karls, both of Waunakee and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 29 at 10 a.m. at the SCHWAB FUNERAL HOME and at 10:30 at ST. JOHNS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Waunakee. Her nephew, Reverend Anthony Karls and Reverend Elmer, Dietzel and also Zyril Weisensel will be celebrating the mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

William's Catholic Church, Janesville and the Mercy Hospital alumni association. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ms. Barbara Constantine of Niles, Illinois, Miss Judy Lowell of Janesville; one son, John, at home; her mother, Mrs. Harvey Leach of Elkhorn; and one sister, Mrs. Cal McCarthy of Janesville; one brother, John, of Elkhorn; and one granddaughter.

She came to this country at the age of 19 and was married to Iver Overland in 1915. They farmed in the Primrose and Pine Bluff areas for many years. She was a Gold Star Mother. Survivors include two sons, Olen of Mt. Horeb, and Norman of Madison; two daughters, Mrs.
