I 12, SECTION 1 MRS. PETT Phyllis Ann Abel Marries Russell Pett on Saturday Miss Phyllis Ann Abel, 3713 W. Karstens daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Carl Abel, Berlin, was married to Russell C.

Pett, Madison, Saturday at 7 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Lydia Crowley, Fond du Lac, and the late Russell H. Pett.

The Rev. Omar Kaste of Trinity Church and the Rev. Robert Twiton, Lutheran minister from Barneveld, officiated. The bride wore a floorlength empire gown of white organza trimmed with handclipped lace, and a lace-bor- dered court train. A jeweled crown held her short tulle veil.

She carried a cascade of white orchids and white satin leaves. Mrs. Harlin Haack, Iron River, the bridegroom's sister, was matron of honor. Mrs. Vernon Abel, Hickory Hills, was bridesmaid.

They wore long empire gowns of apricot chiffon with bishop sleeves, ruffled necklines, and floating back panels. They carried French nosegays of bronze daisy chrysanthemums. James Jones and their sons, Evan and Peter, have moved from Washington, D.C., to 5042 La Crosse Lane. Mr. Jones is on the Law School faculty. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Budd and their children, James and Kim, are living at 4429 Rolla Lane, after a move from Lakewood, 0. Mr. Budd is a vice-president at the First Na- tional Bank. James attends Ashland College in Ohio. DR.

AND Mrs. Harry Kniaz and their four children are living at 110 Richland Lane, after moving from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, where Dr. Kniaz was a captain in the Air Force. He is a resident in psychiatry at University Hospitals and Mendota State Hospital. The children are Shelley, Miriam, Zilah, and Joel.

Living in Middleton are Mr. They Plan Weddings Ley-Bahr Dietzman-Ratajczak ROME, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Allen W.

Ley, Rome, announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Kay, to Pvt. Charles William Bahr III, son 1 of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bahr Delafield. Miss Ley attends the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Theodore W. Brenson, married Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church, Baraboo, are honeymooning in northern Wisconsin and Canada.

Mrs. Brenson is the former Nancy La Deane Melter. Their parents are Mrs. Florence A. Brenson, Lake Delton, and Mr.

and Mrs. Harold L. Melter, Baraboo. The maid of honor was Miss Laura Lange, Baraboo, the bridesmaid, Miss Judy Hellenbrand, Sun Prairie. Danny Hellenbrand, Sun Prairie, was ring-bearer.

Jerry Tatera was best man, and Craig Melter, Baraboo, groomsman. Greg and David Hellenbrand, Sun Prairie, ushered. The bride is a cashier at Thorp Finance Baraboo, and her husband, is employed in inventory control at the Big Joe Manufacturing Wisconsin Dells. Walter Chings Name Daughter MR. AND Mrs.

Walter Ching, 2505 Monterey announce the birth of a daughter, Lisa Marie, on Oct. 20 at St. Mary's Hospital. The baby has a brother, Michael Jon, 18 months. Mrs.

degree in educational administration, and teaching full time. Open House THE JOHNSONS EDGERTON Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Johnson, Edgerton, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday at an open from 2 to 4 p.m.

MISS THOMPSON YW Leader to Train Volunteers Miss Joann Thompson, training consultant with the bureau of personnel and training of the National Board of the Young Women's Christian New York City, will be in Madison Thursday and Friday to give leadership to VENTURE, a training program for YWCA volunteers. "VENTURE is an opportunity for volunteers from Wisconsin and northern Illinois YWCAs to gather together and plan the YWCA of tomorrow," says Miss Geneva MoDonald, chairman of the Madison VENTURE committee.

Stacy has retired after working for General Electric Co. for 45 years. Their son, William, is an accountant for the State Revenue department. Prof. and Mrs.
